Workshop 22.02

Yesterday we experienced the workshop. I think that even if we were a bit stressed and hesitant sometimes, it went quite well as we found new ideas for our project.

Once our project was presented, we came up with a first question :

-What would you do if you were us ?

These first 5 minutes were kinda brainstorming and each group wrote down ideas they had first in mind. This question was quite successfull as we collected new ideas.
Then, we ask them to pick one idea out and try to find the strategy to achieve it.

A group came up with the idea of creating a 3D-model in order to have a best view of the area. This model could help us when meeting local inhabitants for instance as it could make them visualise easily the area and realise the scope of the project.

A group gave us some example of places with fish farms and hydropower plants which is very helpfull so that we can know what it is possible to do in this kind of project.

Another group thought about transforming the old buildings into museums, cafe, restaurant and focalises in the tourism of the area.

As a last question, we ask the groupe to think about :

- How to reach people ?

A lot of ideas were pointing out : Internet, local newspapers, meetings ... And also the idea to work with and not against Fortum, to cooperate with them. It means to try avoiding "Fortum against inhabitants".

So this workshop has been very helfull, thanks to everyone, we now have more details about what we have to do during the next few weeks. The first step will be to contact the local inhabitants and try to meet Fortum as we've already contacted them, the discussion seems fairly open, it's a start !!
